Beginners of all ages are introduced to skating through a Fall Session. Programs include a weekly group lesson with a professional coach teaching skating fundamentals through US Figure Skating Association’s Learn to
Skate program along with an open skate time to practice. Session includes participation in a program highlighting skills learned.

SCUW Membership Fee: $100.00 U.S. (see below for Learn to Skate)


Learn to Skate: SCUW Membership Fee $35.00 includes also Learn to Skate membership fee.


50% due at sign-up. 



Notes 

  • Intro to Skating and all Basic Skills Categories include one weekly group lesson.
  • Private lessons are to take place during skaters registered ice time.
  • Specific ice dates subject to ice available and subject to change.
  • All skating days and times limited to skating level and assigned times and days.
  • Coaches will advise what level each skater is at.
  • Mid-High does not include a Group Lesson.
  • Applications will be accepted on a space-available basis.
  • Drop ins limited to 3 for the entire skating season; drop in fee $15 per hour per occurrence at Whitestown. $20 per hour for non SCUW Members at Whitestown.  Nexus Center drop in fee will be $25 per hour for SCUW
    members $30.00 per hour for non members.  Current skaters who are signed up to skate at SCUW but are not SCUW “home club members” will be charged SCUW member rate for drop ins.

  • Drop ins only if skaters level is compatible with club skaters on ice. 
  • Refunds will be honored for documented medical reasons only.
  • Team & Sharper Image sign-up covers coaching costs. Requires a minimum 2 day membership; sign off by private coach.   Further requirements will be reviewed by the Synchro & Team Skills coaches. 
  • Prorating is only applicable when signing up for a session after it has begun. Payment is then required for the entire number of the remaining weeks. There is no pro-rating for individual classes that may be missed. Based upon space available basis only. ​ 
  • Must be registered prior to January 8th to be eligible for the ice show.
